At Hayes Vocational Learning Centre (HVLC), we believe that determination, passion, and a willingness to learn are the truest indicators of future success. Our admission requirements are structured to remove unnecessary barriers to high-quality technical education.

We look beyond traditional academic transcripts to welcome individuals ready to build practical skills and achieve lasting self-reliance.

General Admission Requirements

To ensure a safe, productive, and highly collaborative learning environment for all students across our ground and first-floor faculties, applicants must meet the following general baselines:

1. Age Requirement: Applicants must be 16 years of age or older by the start of the 2027 academic year to participate in industrial and technology programs. 2. Commitment to Learning: A demonstrated passion for hands-on, experiential training and a commitment to completing the full course duration. 3. Inclusivity & Accessibility: No prior formal academic diplomas are strictly required for our foundational streams. Our programs are explicitly designed to support youth, aspiring entrepreneurs, and vulnerable populations looking to secure their livelihoods.

What You Will Need to Apply

When our formal application portal goes live in late 2026, you will need to provide the following items to finalize your enrollment file:

1. National Identification: A valid ID card, passport, or birth certificate. 2. Two Passport-Sized Photographs: For your official student identity profile. 3. Next of Kin / Guardian Contact Info: Ensuring a secure community network. 4. Personal Statement or Interview: A brief chat with our faculty leads to understand your career goals and ensure you are on the right pathway.
